Headphone Music, Radio Huddersfield

Some of my more avid fans may have noticed my mentions of a new passion of mine, Music Radio. When I first came to Huddersfield to study Music Journalism, I was adamant that all I wanted to do was write, but since learning more about the way shows are put together and how to present, I find myself getting more and more enamoured with Radio. I mean, what can be more than playing a bunch of songs you love to a listening audience, and explaining why you like them?

Unfortunately I am yet to get my own show on Radio Hudd (coming soon folks!), but I am lucky enough that I have some lovely friends who have been kind enough to let me co present theirs. This week I was co host on Headphone Music, a show devised by my coursemates Horea and Aaron, with the intention of playing as diverse a selection of music as possible, as well as plenty of unsigned tracks. They're only a few weeks in but doing a grand job, so I was more than honoured to take Horea's place this week whilst he was on Reading Week. Much fun was had, and for those of you who missed it, the playlist devised by Aaron and myself is available below.
